24 skaters, four goalies, a great rink, barn, food & drink. Get on the list. Weather permitting we skate on Tuesday nights 7 pm under the LED lights and on Saturday mornings.
The 2025 tournament will be held on February 8th. Arrive 5ish. The ice will be fantastic this year!
We skate as much as possible through the short outdoor season. Get on the update list to know when a game is on. Typically Wed & Sat nights.

2023 Doan’s Rink
Only two skates on the rink for this season. We did pull off the tournament and Lagermen won the tournament this time. Check out the video to learn who played and what the results were.
2022 Game on in Fenton!
Big thanks to Steve and Becky Topoliski for hosting our tournament! Jim’s rink isn’t ready and unfortunately, the barn flooded this week.
Arrive by 10 am on Saturday, Feb 19th to 2483 Malibu Ct, Fenton. The funds will pay for food and drink for the day and contribute to a new tarp. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink, but we will have plenty as always.

The draft process was quick to get the action going. Larry O from All Black Hockey Sticks was itching to get moving. He is a high energy hockey player and somehow he got paired up with the best skater of the bunch, Craig Johnson. The won both games as Team Porter. Then Stout Bros tied with Lagermen.
We had a few drop from play and sorted teams a bit for a final game with goalies. The goalies were exhausted by then, thank you Charles Partridge and Jessica McCormack! They both played well and Charles has some video to share on his YouTube Channel, Cooper Goalie.
We raised a little money towards a new tarp at Doan’s. Jim was busy drying out the carpeting in the barn, as it had flooded. We plan to schedule the tournament in January next season as the weather is getting weirder.

2021 Winter Classic
There is something different about skating outside in the elements. You get that feeling you had when you were a kid. For some of us that is longer ago than others, but still there to be captured.
The cool thing is that we are grown up and we can create a more comfortable environment.
Boards, nets, goalies and great ice conditions generally are one thing.
How about a heated barn with a popcorn machine, NHL Network on a TV and all the food and beer you can handle?
Yeah, good times.

Highlights from Past Tournaments
Players are sorted based on skill level and then randomly drawn to form teams. This works pretty well but isn’t perfect. There are four teams that are created with the skaters and goalies. You might notice a theme in the names, Team Porter, Doan’s High Life, Lagermen and Stout Bros.
